Program Policies and Cancellations

Program Policies

  • Our primary goal is to keep our participants and staff safe.  As such, Moxie Mountain Guides, LLC and Singletrack Addict maintain the right to change a program’s itinerary or route based on conditions or participants’ ability. No refunds will be given for a change in route or itinerary.

    • We strongly recommend that you purchase refundable airline tickets, travel, and rescue insurance!

  • We, Moxie Mountain Guides, Singletrack Addict, and our guides, reserve the right to make all weather-related decisions in regards to the cancellation of trips. 

  • Moxie Mountain Guides and Singletrack Addict are not responsible for pre-program or preparation expenses if a participant cancels for any reason. If these expenses were covered by Moxie Mountain Guides or Singletrack Addict, the participant’s card will be charged accordingly.

  • Scheduled programs may be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not reached. Every effort will be made to transfer participants to another program. If transfer to another program is not possible, a full refund will be issued.

    • If the retreat does not meet the minimum # of participants 45 days before the trip start date, the trip will be canceled and full refunds, including deposits, will be issued regarding any transaction with our platform. 

  • If a program is canceled due to man-made disasters, natural disasters, pandemics, dangerous weather / snowpack conditions, or other factors outside of Moxie Mountain Guides or Singletrack Addict’s control, Moxie Mountain Guides and Singletrack Addict might allow participants to postpone their booking free of charge. Participants may forfeit their booking for the purposes of collecting travel insurance.

  • No refunds will be given for early departure from a Moxie Mountain Guides or Singletrack Addict program.

  • Participants will not be refunded for transportation costs to and from programs.

  • Moxie Mountain Guides and Singletrack Addict are not responsible for any evacuation or search and rescue fees. Travel and rescue insurance are strongly recommended.

  • All guiding and instruction related to mountain biking will be provided by Singletrack Addict.

  • All guiding and instruction related to rock climbing will be provided by Sheldon Kerr and Kristin Arnold of  Moxie Mountain Guides  as employees of, and through, authorized permittee and trusted partner The Mountain Guides (TMG)- we may add an additional TMG guide if needed.

  • Moxie and Singletrack addict will secure a group campsite. By registering, participants agree to camp at their own risk. 

All that said, we’re reasonable humans, and we will work with you towards an outcome that’s agreeable by all parties.


Cancellation Policy

  • Upon Registration –  50% non-refundable deposit. Payment is required to reserve your space.

  • Before Departure – 60 Days out, your trip balance is due. If balance is not received 45 days before departure, your reservation will be cancelled. No refunds will be issued.

  • For all sign-ups within 60 days of departure, full payment is due at the time of registration.

  • Scheduled programs may be cancelled if minimum enrollment of 12 participants is not reached 45 days before the trip.

  • 31-60 days prior to travel: 50% of the total booking prices will be refunded.

    • We secure guides and travel plans well in advance. Cancellations within the 60-day window will incur costs that we cannot recoup due to planning, guides, and permitting process.

  • 30- 0 days before travel: No refund, no exceptions.

    • We secure guides and travel plans well in advance. Cancellations within the 30-day window make it extremely difficult to fill spaces.
